Feasibility Study

This proposal extends an existing north London nursery to create a new children’s centre. The existing popular community nursery occupies a generous site and the new Centre would extend the building right up to the boundary to create a confident and welcoming street frontage.

This school is located within a residential street and conservation area. The scale and language of the proposed new building mediates between the single-storey scale of the existing 60’s nursery and the local large-scale Victorian houses.
